The Hug-a-Bub Wrap Carrier, even if used only for the first 3 months of your baby's life, will have profound long-term benefits for you both. This is not just a baby transportation device, the Wrap Carrier meets a very specific new born need for closeness and support. Very few carriers are designed to suit newborn babies but the Hug-a-Bub is safe and suitable for even the tiniest premature baby. Perfect for kangaroo care, a mother's body temperature will regulate to suit what her baby needs, rising when the baby is cold, falling when the baby is hot. And your baby's head is cradled and supported against your chest, promoting healthy spine development. The Hug-a-Bub Certified Organic Pocket Wrap carrier is made from the world's most highly certified organic interlock cotton and including the unique self-storing pocket. The soft, heavenly material comes in many earthy colours. These exquisite pocketed wraps pamper parent and baby in comfort and style. Hug-a-Bub supports your back. The Hug-a-Bub's ergonomic design wraps around your torso, from shoulders to hips, reducing unnecessary strain on your shoulders, neck and back. Physiotherapists recommend Hug-a-Bub Wrap Carrier for parent with chronic back problems. Included with your Hug-a-Bub baby carrier is a step-by-step instructional video that demonstrates a simple tying method, how to place your baby in any of the 4 different positions, a few handy hints on how to get the most out of your Hug-a-Bub in both hot and cold climates, and last but not least some important information about the many benefits baby-wearing has to offer. There are two suitable positions for discretely and comfortably breastfeeding your baby - horizontally or vertically. The best position for you will depend on your baby's size and the size of the mother's breasts. (Some women with very large breasts have expressed difficulty breastfeeding in the Hug-a-Bub). Suits Every Size Baby. There is no weight limit for your baby. The Hug-a-Bub is suitable for babies from prematurity up to toddlerhood. As long as you still pick them up they will feel lighter in a Hug-a-Bub.
