About this Artwork What are the infinite capabilities of the body? Each person in this world is built in a unique form - capable of contributing in different ways that no other person can contribute. When we're all working together, like the patches of a quilt, we create a massive collaborative tapestry that extends into every far reach of culture to produce what we call societies. It's only when we forget our purpose and the importance of others that holes start to damage the strength of the tapestry at large. I've worked many times with the dancers in this photograph, who represent contemporary icons of current movement, dancing for global campaigns, The LA Opera and Jacob Jonas, and on tour for artists like Beyonce, Kali Uchis, Doja Cat, Jackson Wang and many more.
