The AKCP Temperature & Humidity Sensor delivers precise, real-time monitoring of both temperature and humidity through a single RJ-45 port on any AKCP sensorProbe or securityProbe controller (sold separately). Instead of using two ports for two sensors, this dual sensor combines both measurements into one connection. Three variants are available to match your installation. The THS00 and THS15 are both box-style sensors with a conductive metal tube housing The THS00 ships with a 5 ft CAT5 cable and supports extensions up to 1,000 feet from the controller using standard UTP CAT5. The THS15 ships with a 15 ft cable and supports extensions up to 330 feet from the controller. The THS01 is a cable-style probe sensor on a 1 ft cable, designed for close-proximity installations inside server racks or enclosures where you need the probe positioned at the exact measurement point. All three variants share the same proven sensor technology. The conductive metal tube protects the measurement element, while the humidity sensor remains exposed to air for accurate readings. Each sensor is factory calibrated and arrives ready to use. If you observe a deviation, you can apply a reading offset directly through the controller's web interface. Data logging built in Every sensor has its own SNMP OID, so readings can be collected across your network and fed into external tools like MRTG for graphing and long-term logging at 0.2°C resolution. All AKCP controllers include an onboard graphing tool to track temperature and humidity trends over time.
