You do not need to remove the plastic molding on your bed rails. Mark off 2 spots on the bed rail and your inserts. These will be your drill spots. Drill both into your inserts and through your bed rail. Insert a riv nut into the 4 spots of your Inserts you drilled. prep the panels to your liking; and have them professionally painted. Now use the Epoxy provided in your kit and zig zag the bottom of your slant backs and set them in the final position. Now secure them down but using an m8 bolt and screw upwards through the bed rails and into your slant backs. Finally ratchet strap down the panels using the wheel wells and bed hooks as leverage points and let dry for 2-3 hours
