The Asian styled all in one tool used for throwing forms on top of a hump. The beveled edge under cuts the bottom ofthe form. The attached wire is used to slowly cut across the bas e of the form.After throwing a form at the top of a hump, use the beveled pointed end of the tool to cut a 1/2" angled groove below the foot. (Step 1) Then, reverse the position of the tool in your hand and, with the wheel spinning slowly, lay the end of the string into the corner of the groove. (Step 2) Allow the string to wrap around the foot, like a toy top, and immediately pull the string away from the clay.
