Light (Yellow) Humpy- This high floating, highly visible dry fly is a standard pattern on the large rivers in the Rockies and it is great in a size 16 on many Virginia trout stream s. When the white fly hatch is on smallmouth rivers the size 12 does a great job. Dark (Red) Humpy- This matches many dark colored mayflies that hatch early in the season on the trout streams throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Fish these in the tails of the pools at dusk. Fish the size 12 on the smallmouth bass rivers when the brown drake mayflies hatch. Show more
