The ACC-COM-GSM is a GSM cellular communications module designed for Hunter ACC series site controllers. It provides a built-in cellular interface so a Master Controller can communicate with a central computer using circuit-switched data (CSD). The module is intended for remote or hard-to-reach sites where wired network access is unavailable, and it can be combined with on-site radio or hardwire expansion modules when required. GSM cellular interface: Built-in GSM radio for remote communications—requires an active SIM card and carrier support for CSD (circuit-switched data). Controller integration: Connects directly to Hunter ACC Master Controllers to enable dial-up modem communication with a central host computer. Expandable connectivity: Works with ACC-HWIM and compatible radio modules to add outbound hardwire or radio links between controllers. Reliable remote access: Ideal for sites without LAN access or where cellular is the preferred primary link for telemetry and control. Documentation and support: Comprehensive manuals and guides are available for installation, configuration, and network requirements. Before installation, confirm carrier support for CSD and obtain a SIM card with a data plan that allows dial-up connections. The module is sold as a communications accessory; additional modules (ACC-HWIM, radio modules) and a SIM card are purchased separately when needed. Refer to the included Owner's Manual, ACC-COM-LAN and ACC-COM-GPRS manuals, Plastic Pedestal Installation Guide, product cutsheet, brochure, and decoder design guide for detailed wiring, configuration, and compatibility notes.
