Hunter Flytraps "Wicked Tooth" (FTS MM x MM 2020 #1) - Venus Flytrap Carnivorous Plant Hunter Flytraps Wicked Tooth MM x MM 2020 #1 is a FTS Maroon Monster x Maroon Monster 2020 plant from seed, cross pollinated by our best breeding stock MM mother plants in June 2020. Get a very healthy unique typical that could eventually, easily be, or should be, it's own cultivar. Rare one of a kind plants. These plants exhibit similar characteristics to FTS Maroon Monster, with some nuances, as offspring of MM cultivar parents. Differences from normal FTS MM observed include: Wicked Tooth (MM20 #1) plants are more green than FTS MM, with Maroon hues on petioles and outside of traps with dark maroon like mouths. The cilia are twisty and dentate like, but alternating/Twisting, reminding us of twisting flames or teeth.. like a Wicked Tooth. They exhibit some long 1/4"+ needle like trigger hairs. Color and cilia traits are seasonal, greener and shorter cilia in spring/summer, dark reds/burgundy and longer cilia in fall/ winter. These are not true FTS Maroon Monster clones, these are considered "typicals" and are not yet a registered cultivar. Your plant resides within a 3" pot with a velvety layer of either New Zealand Long Fiber Sphagnum Moss or a silky Peat/perlite/sand mixture in water tray with care tag.
