Hunting & Trapping is a downtime activity zine with a focus on hunting and trapping during an adventure and explores the challenges and difficulties of surviving in the wilderness, and more importantly, getting food. Players can work together to complete one or all of these tasks each time camp is set, or divide the workload amongst each other. While we have tried to keep these rules as standalone as possible, the Gamemaster might need to make adjustments to fit their chosen system. When living int he open air, one's appetite is often so good - and the pleasure of getting your own meals so great - that whatever might be cooked, it will taste excellent. "Hunger is the best sauce," as some say. The idea that adventurers can sustain themselves on travel rations and keep the energy needed to fight off monsters, traverse dangerous caves, and heal from near-death encounters is a far from reality as anything fantasy can cook up.
