BUTTERY AND CITRUSY Introducing Lemon Meadow, the fourth release in our boundary-pushing and experimental Huntress series. This whisky heroes our passion for fermentation experiments. We’ve used a yeast derived from a well know French sparkling wine production, one that is rarely used in Scotch whisky. It brings citrusy, biscuity notes - flavours of lemon sorbet, fresh chamomile, and all butter shortbread. -Huntress Lemon Meadow is the product of our very first yeast trial back in 2017, the year we began distilling. This unique fermentation, along with maturation in our house style casks, results in a creamy, delicious and slightly floral whisky.-5,729 bottles / 48.5% abv / 70cl / certified organic / vegan friendly / gluten free / natural colour / non-chill filtered / unpeated-"There’s an initial buttery/white chocolate softness, rapidly followed by green apple and lemon curd/yuzu marmalade brightness. The higher alcohol gives it great drive and energy. The palate has a crisp, biscuity element accompanied by white fruits, then a lovely thickening in the centre with yellow plum."
