The Hunza Eave Light is a small recessed downlight built for the underside of a roofline. This copper version sits neatly into a soffit or eave and throws a clean pool of light straight down, without any visible fitting once it is in place. Solid copper finish The visible face is solid copper, one of Hunza's genuine solid metal finishes rather than a plated or coated surface. Copper is a natural material, so expect it to darken and develop a patina outdoors over the months after installation. That weathering is normal and part of the finish, not a fault. Colour swatches are available on request, since screen colours are only ever a guide. How it works This is a low voltage fitting, so it needs a transformer and a Hunza approved MR16 LED lamp, both sold separately. The cut out for the recessed body is 65mm. Wiring is parallel, which makes it straightforward to run several fittings from one transformer along a run of eaves. If you would rather run a GU10 lamp straight off the mains with no transformer, the same light is also available as the Hunza Eave Light GU10 in copper. A Hunza approved MR16 LED lamp, bought separately, plus a compatible low voltage transformer. Is this the same as the GU10 version? No, this is the low voltage MR16 version. The mains GU10 equivalent is a separate product for anyone who prefers to avoid a transformer.
