7.4kW Smart EV Charger with PEN Fault Detection and Rear-Entry Cable Access The Hydra Notus is a 7.4kW single phase smart EV charger designed for UK homes. Available as an untether ed Type 2 socket or with a 5m tethered Type 2 cable, with optional 4G SIM module. Includes built-in PEN fault detection (no earth electrode needed on PME supplies) and 6mA DC leakage protection that satisfies the Type B RCD requirement when paired with a standard Type A RCD upstream. Wi-Fi, Ethernet and 4G connectivity. Controlled via the free Hydra Nexus Pro App with scheduling, RFID activation, and remote start/stop. OCPP 1.6 compatible. Rear-entry cable access gives flexibility on retrofit installations.
