Description Hydralyte Ready-to-use Electrolyte Solutions are convenient solutions, perfect for when you are on the go. They relieve symptoms of dehydration and help replace water a nd electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and occasional hangovers. Directions for use: Do not dilute. Sip slowly. Refrigerate after opening and discard after 1 month. See enclosed leaflet for recommended dosage. Cautions: Dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea can be dangerous in young children under 5 years old, babies and older people. Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than: 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 to 6 years, 48 hours for adults and children over 6 years. Avoid full strength fruit juice, soft drink, sports drinks or cordial, as these can speed up the dehydration process by worsening diarrhoea and stripping the body of essential mineral salts.
