This amazingly vigorous bright yellow-foliaged seedling (not a sport) of Hydrangea 'Big Daddy' was selected by Georgia's Ozzie Johnson. Our original clump of Hydrangea 'Lemon Daddy ', now 3' tall x 5' wide, is adorned, starting in late May (NC), with huge mophead flowers that open white and turn either blue or a Milk of Magnesia pink (in high pH soils)...a pink even tackier than the outfits at a Monster Truck Show! Those of you in Zone 5, where the flower buds get killed in winter, can still enjoy the colorful foliage...one heckuva way to brighten up a dark corner...I love it!
