If you're going to name a plant after one of the greatest artists of all time, you'd better make sure it delivers! Fortunately, 'Rosso Glory' is an absolute stunner. Boasting fabulous magenta flowers from June right the way through into September, this hydrangea makes a fabulous addition to any mixed beds or borders. With a compact habit, growing to just one-and-a-half metres tall, 'Rosso Glory' is suitable for growing in large patio pots, but it can also be used to create a relatively low flowering hedge. An excellent choice for cut flowers, use your hydrangea blooms alongside foxgloves and ferns in a contemporary arrangement. This is a mophead variety of Hydrangea macrophylla, named due to its flower shape. The other type for this species are 'lacecap' varieties, which have tiny fertile flowers surroundeded by a ring of sterile florets.
