Hydrangea paniculata 'Early Harry' ® P19 Hydrangea paniculata 'Early Harry' ® P19 is a deciduous shrub valued for its broad, conical flower clusters that open mainly white and often blush pink as they age, giving reliable colour from mid to late summer into early autumn. Well suited to Irish gardens, it grows best in sun or light shade in a moist but well-drained, moderately fertile, humus-rich soil. Prune in late winter or early spring, shortening the previous year’s flowering stems to a sturdy framework to encourage strong new shoots and abundant panicles.
