A wonderful plant for a dull corner, the oak leaved Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Tara’ provides a wealth of interest, with its interesting oak shaped leaves, full of texture. This compac t, bushy shrub is happy in partial shade, and in late spring/ early summer it bears clusters of flat, white, mophead type flowers, which open from green buds, eventually turning tawny brown.
