A rare, evergreen climbing hydrangea, ideal for a shady location. It is special for a number of reasons: first of all, it's evergreen; second of all, it's a climber, and a self-clinging one at that; and thirdly, it thrives in shade. With all of these qualities - not to mention the white flowers in summer - it's a useful and beautiful plant suitable for many situations. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil, against a wall or fence. It will stick of its own accord, though it may take a couple of years to get going. You can fix it in place with duck tape if desired. Suitable for shade as well as full sun. It takes 2-3 years to flower. For a longer stretch of wall or fence, space plants approx 3 metres apart. Cold hardy, as well as tolerant of wind and seaside conditions. Irish grown plants approx 30-40cm height in a 3 litre container. Generally currently available in our Monkstown and Airfield / Dundrum locations. DELIVERY TERMS: Delivery charge is €20.00 per order, irrespective of the number of plants ordered.
