A compact, bushy hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla 'Wedding Gown’ is an elegant addition to the border or a striking specimen when placed in a container on the terrace. The green se rrated leaves complement the large flower heads, which open like a traditional lacecap, with a ring of large, double white florets held around small, pale green buds, but, as these buds open, the effect is much more like a mophead.
