The membrane helps protect tile installations from substrate stresses that can lead to cracked grout joints or tile failure. Compatible with Common Tile Substrates Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the membrane installs over concrete, wood subfloors, and existing tile surfaces. It provides a stable foundation for ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile in both residential and commercial applications. Waterproof Protection Beneath Tile Installations In addition to uncoupling and crack isolation, the membrane creates a waterproof layer beneath the tile assembly to help protect the substrate from moisture intrusion.
