Product Details This type HydroBloc cable belongs to HBSP series. It has multiple conductors which are shielded and twisted in pairs, under the round jacket. The conductors are insulated with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Conductor The cable is made of copper, one of the best electrical conductors. Copper has good tensile strength, creep resistant and good thermal conductivity; all these features adds to the excellent electrical transmission of copper made HydroBloc Cable. Multi conductors copper conductors are flexible and easy to install. Shielding Copper conductors are individually shielded with 100% aluminum foil to prevent electromagnetic interferences. This ensures smooth signal transmission as it reduces noise and attenuation. Shielding keeps the conductors in their positions inhibiting them from overlapping, hence improving the electrical conductivity of the cable. Insulation and jacketing The tough Polyvinyl chloride is used to insulate and jacket the cable for chemical and mechanical protection. It is fungal resistant and do not decompose thus increasing the service life of the cable. PVC is flame retardant, moisture resistance and sunlight resistance as well. It is 0.254 mm thick and color coded for easy identification.
