Early Postoperative Support & Incision Care Luna Azzurra's Healing Hydrocolloid Strips Luna Azzurra’s Hydrocolloid Strips are made from FDA approved hydrocolloid and are recommended for use on your healing incision post cesarean section, within the first few weeks postpartum. Use: Once the steri-strips or skin glue placed on your incision at time of your c-section have been removed/fallen off, our hydrocolloid strips can be applied to your incision. They are designed for the length of a c-section scar, help maintain a clean moist barrier over your incision and prevent skin irritation and infection. Each heat sealed foil pack contains 4 hydrocolloid strips on a clear film. Instructions: Wash your hands and ensure that your incision is clean and dry. Apply a hydrocolloid strip onto your c-section incision, once the steri-strips or skin glue have been removed/fallen off, usually 1-2 weeks postoperative. Each strip can be applied for up to 12 hours a day and used for 12 days consecutively.
