NAGCO Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) detector tubes are designed for measuring hydrogen sulfide concentrations using NAGCO pumps and tubes. The tubes provide three measurement ranges for flexibility across different H₂S concentrations. Specifications: • Standard Range: 0–150 ppmv• Extended Range: 0–75 ppmv• Extended Range: 0–300 ppmv• Number of Pump Strokes (Standard Range): 1• Sample Volume (Standard Range): 100 mL• Sample Time (Standard Range): 1.5 minutes• Correction Factor (Standard Range): 1• Precision (Relative Standard Deviation): ≤ ±12%• Linearity with Number of Pump Strokes: r² = 0.999• Humidity: No effect between 5–85% RH• Temperature Range: 0–40°C (32–104°F)• Temperature Correction Factor: 0.88 at 0°C/32°F; 0.96 at 10°C/50°F; 1.0 at 24°C/75°F; 1.1 at 40°C/104°F• Storage Life: 3 years in darkness at 5–25°C (40–77°F); refrigeration preferred• Color Change: White → Brown• Part Number: N10-103-12 The tube uses a reaction between hydrogen sulfide and lead acetate to produce lead sulfide and a color change from white to brown. The standard range uses 1 pump stroke with a 100 mL sample volume and a 1.5-minute sampling time. Cross-Sensitivity: The datasheet reports no apparent response from carbon monoxide, methane, ammonia, carbon disulfide, diethyl sulfide, isobutylene, or toluene under the listed test conditions. Methyl mercaptan produces no apparent reading under the standard test conditions and has no effect in mixtures, although high concentrations may leave a yellow color over the entire tube. Nitrogen dioxide may interfere in mixtures and may result in a transient light brown H₂S response. Datasheet
