Hygiclad provides a robust wipe clean surface in areas that a high degree of purity from bacteria is required. Additionally the product is frequently specified where more basic cleanliness is needed in areas such as receptions, washrooms and waiting rooms. Hygiclad® achieves an excellent fire rating of BS476-PT7 Class 1 on its own merits and is understood to achieve a fire rating of BS476-PT7 Class 0, when bonded as a composite panel to plasterboard. These excellent properties enable the system to be specified in accordance with building regulations, whilst its high impact strength ensures a quality, long-life finish.
