Hythe is a coastal, market town on the edge of the Romney Marsh in Kent. A canal runs through this seaside town, upon which is held an annual Venetian Festival. Martello towers and old fishing huts line the pebble beach. A haven of independent shops and historical interest, it's definitely on my hit list for a day trip or more.
