The HC009S/EXT is an occupancy sensor with microwave technology. They are more reliable in detecting movement compared to infrared (IR) sensors and last five times longer. The integrated motion detector (works with Doppler Frequency) sends radio frequency waves and detects the energy that is reflected to the device. Microwave sensors have larger elliptical coverage and pick-up motion only. APPLICATIONS WITH HC009S/EXT In small light fittings when the sensor can not be installed internally, the HC009S/EXT will remotely switch LED loads up to 1200Watt. This is a typical project case: An office with a false or plasterboard ceiling is lit by 600x600 LED panels. The sensor will be "hidden" on the ceiling, it will not be visible on the surface. When movement is detected the lights will be switched on within milliseconds. When there is no moving object in the room, the lights will go off after a user-defined time scale.
