Maintain continuous saline or sterile water irrigation during i-Brush application. Dry use at operating speed generates heat at the implant surface and risks thermal injury to the surrounding peri-implant tissues and bone crest. 2 Three minutes of decontamination time is sufficient. The animal study demonstrated complete removal of contamination and infection from the SLA surface after 3 minutes of i-Brush use — extended application beyond this is not necessary and may generate unnecessary heat at the thread surface. 3 Use i-Brush 1 where R-Brush cannot reach.
