i-dle's We are i-dle is a special mini album released on May 2, 2025 through CUBE Entertainment, celebrating the group's seventh anniversary and their official rebranding from (G)I -DLE to i-dle. The release features newly recorded versions of nine songs from the group's earlier career, now performed by Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. For NEVERLAND, the album offers a fresh take on some of the songs that established i-dle as one of K-pop's most distinctive self-producing girl groups. Rather than simply revisiting the original recordings, the new versions allow NEVERLAND to hear these defining songs with i-dle's current five-member lineup. “LATATA” returns with the song that started their career, while “HANN (Alone)” and “Oh my god” highlight the group's darker, more atmospheric sound. “Uh-Oh” brings back their old-school hip-hop influence, “LION” showcases their powerful and theatrical side, and “DUMDi DUMDi” offers a brighter contrast. The collection ultimately works as a musical journey through several of i-dle's most memorable eras, ending with the dramatic “HWAA.” We are i-dle was released as a special anniversary project and served as the group's first release under their new name. It also gave fans a chance to revisit songs from the group's early years in newly recorded form, marking the beginning of a new chapter before the release of their eighth mini album, We are, later that month.
