“I Feel Angry” depicts humorous examples of situations where explosions of anger are common such as in the classroom and at home with siblings. Using relevant analogies, children will relate to the feelings of “exploding like fireworks” or acting like a “bull in a china shop”. The book subsequently incorporates useful anger management techniques into the storyline including counting to ten, exercise, relaxation, positive imagery and also how to make apologies for the times when children do get angry.
