This is in part for the safety of the artwork and in part because the wooden stretcher bars may not be utilized if the artwork is to be custom framed. The stretcher bar frame is easily attached with the provided industrial Velcro and we would be happy to walk you through this process if you have any questions. * QUALITY: With DeRubeis artwork, all pieces are created by hand in the artists studio and thus all are original works that cannot be reprinted.
