High Image Quality: CMOS sensors provide high-resolution digital images with fine details, which are crucial for accurate diagnosis in dental imaging. 2. Faster Image Acquisition: The technology allows for faster processing of images, meaning the captured X-ray data can be quickly transferred to a computer, reducing wait times for dental professionals and patients. 3. Low Power Consumption: CMOS sensors consume less power compared to other imaging technologies, like CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) sensors. This makes them more energy-efficient, helping extend the lifespan of the device. 4. Compact Design: CMOS sensors are typically smaller, enabling the creation of thin, lightweight, and ergonomic sensor designs like those found in the Woodpecker i-Sensors H1/H1.5/H2, which are easier to use in a patient's mouth. 5. Durability and Reliability: CMOS sensors tend to be more durable and resistant to damage from everyday handling, contributing to the long-term reliability of the sensor in a dental practice setting. Get remote support with our technical team Important Installation and Support Notice The sensor package includes the TWAIN driver software, calibration file, and installation media (USB drive). For buyers who request installation services, we will install and configure the TWAIN driver and calibration file on the designated computer(s) as a one-time service. Initial installation and setup may be performed either remotely or on-site, as applicable and mutually agreed upon. Please note that we are not responsible for the configuration, integration, modification, or troubleshooting of any third-party practice management, imaging, or dental software currently used by the dental office. We do not make changes to existing practice software, as doing so may affect system performance and is outside our scope of authorization and support. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any compatibility issues resulting from software upgrades, updates, replacements, or migrations to newer versions of dental or imaging software that do not support the sensor or its TWAIN driver. The TWAIN driver installation is provided as a one-time service only. If the dental office subsequently replaces or reinstalls Windows, upgrades hardware, formats computers, or adds additional workstations, reinstallation and configuration of the TWAIN driver will be the responsibility of the dental office or its IT provider. All necessary installation files, software, and documentation are supplied on the USB drive included with each sensor package for future installations. Any additional installation, reinstallation, configuration, training, or support services requested after the initial setup may be subject to additional service fees. .responsive-video { width: 100%; aspect-ratio: 16 / 9; height: auto; } .responsive-video { width: 100%; aspect-ratio: 16 / 9; height: auto; }
