Accent triangles bracket squares of print fabrics in these vertical strings of lanterns. The design was planned to let prints shine, though pieced scrappy blocks, crumb blocks or e mbroidered blocks replacing the print squares would be interesting variations. All angles are achieved with stitch-and-flip (snowballed corners) construction, creating a complex design while cutting only squares.
