Helianthus annuus. A branched sunflower variety that can reach over 8' tall. Flowers are medium sized, 5-7". Collected from the Havasupai Reservation at the bottom of the Grand Can yon. Long narrow seeds. Lodging (falling over) can be problem in the low desert, as the tall plants can be toppled by wind. It's a good idea to provide support. From our Seed Bank Collection.
