The IAI Arava is a twin-turboprop, short takeoff and landing (STOL) light utility transport aircraft developed in the late 1960s by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). Notably, it stands as Israel's first major indigenously designed aircraft to enter full-scale serial production. A total of 103 IAI Arava aircraft were built between 1972 and 1988. Produced by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), this STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) transport plane saw service with 14 different militaries as well as commercial operators.
