Iburigakko – Makoto Nosan (Smoked and pickled daikon radish) Smoked pickled daikon from Akita. Fresh daikon are smoked over a wood fire for a few days and then pickled in rice bran , salt and sugar. The sliced Iburigakko by Makoto Nosan is additionally marinated in beer. 100 gram Taste Smokey, rich, slightly sweet with deep umami. Has nice crunchy texture and goes great with cream cheese.
