The ICB Biomechanical Protractor is a diagnostic tool designed to assist in assessing lower limb biomechanical conditions. With its easy-to-read face dial and swinging arm, this is a handy tool to have. By gaining accurate measurements, practitioners are then able to formulate the orthotic prescription. It is a valuable tool when measuring for forefoot deformities (forefoot valgus and forefoot varus), in addition to rearfoot positioning (Resting Calcaneal Stance Position -RCSP and Neutral Calcaneal Stance Position – NCSP).
