The ice cream maker fits the standard plastic mixing bowl of the Bosch Universal Plus mixer. It also fits the MUZ6ER2 accessory stainless mixing bowl and the MUZ6SB4 accessory stainless mixing bowl for the Universal, as well as the mixing bowl for the NutriMill Artiste mixer. It does not fit the standard plastic bowl of the older Bosch Universal Classic mixer. Product tip: When using an ice cream maker of this type, rock salt is added to the ice surrounding the freezer, to accelerate the freezing process. It's very important to wash, rinse and dry the stainless bowl very thoroughly immediately after use, to prevent rust. Contrary to popular belief, "stainless" steel is not totally rust-proof. All steel contains iron, and with enough exposure to salt water, rust can start. Just wash, rinse and dry thoroughly right after use, and your bowl will stay looking like new!
