Iconostasis Orthodox IconThis is a very unusual iconographic subject in which is depicted an entire Russian iconostasis, or icon screen. In the Orthodox church the iconostasis sepa rates the nave from the sanctuary and, particularly in the Russian tradition, tends to be many tiers in height.
