Idealseal Universal FS Silicone combines premium acetoxy curing technology free of solvents and mineral oils with sanitary grade anti-fungal compounds to provide a colourfast, watertight, non-shrinking, weather resistant, flexible seal which resists mould, mildew, and bacterial growth. The sealant has excellent adhesive properties accommodating joint movement of + or - 20%. It is temperature resistant between -40°C to +180°C and will not crack, harden, or dry out. Approved for food contact by IANESCO following FDA specifications to 21 CFR 177.2600(e). It is also certified to Emicode EC1 Plus. USES Idealseal Universal FS Silicone is suitable for a wide range of internal and external applications. It is commonly used for sealing around baths, shower trays, basins, sanitary ware, worktops, and tiled areas. In addition, it is used for perimeter sealing around window and door frames, top sealing glazing and curtain walling, draught proofing, sealing cladding, sealing panels within cold stores and sealing floor to wall joints. It is also compatible with most common building materials including PVCu, glass, glazed surfaces, porcelain, coated metal, epoxy, and polyester panels, finished wood, vinyl, leather, rubber and plastics. APPLICATION Surfaces must be dry and dust free. Cut the cartridge seal and screw on nozzle which should be cut to required size. Gun the sealant firmly into joint ensuring no air is trapped behind. If required place masking tape along joint edges, removing within 5 minutes of application.
