IDUNN - Matte Eyeshadow Color Description: A midtone warm green with brown tones- matte. VEGAN. Eye use only. Idunn is closest to Pure Eyes Matte: Herb, but more brownish and muted. The goddess of eternal youth, married to Bragi, the god of poetry. Idunn is the custodian of the golden apples of youth. When the gods feel old age approaching, they only have to eat of the apples to become young again. As a goddess of fertility, youth and death, it is possible that she was originally one of the Vanir. (source) Idunn is one of ten matte shades released in August 2015's Matte Saga One. There will be a total of four Matte Saga collections inspired by women in Norse Mythology. Many of these shades will be close matches to Aromaleigh's former Pure Eyes Matte collection and listings will show what color is closest, for customer reference. All shades feature a brand new formula and deluxe sample size availability. Shown swatched over BARE SKIN... the new formula performs very nicely with no need for primer, but should you choose to use a primer/base, the color will be more intense and saturated. This formula is "semi loose" and features added ingredients for adhesion and wear, which also intensify the color shifts and make it easier to wear and blend over both bare skin and a variety of primers. Your eyeshadow will not arrive in "little balls" like some semi-loose formulas do, but it may be more difficult to get through the sifter holes. Sifters are easily removed. As always, I recommend a regular cream base such as NYX cream eyeshadow base. This size jar contains 3/4 teaspoon which has a minimum net gram weight of 1.6 grams. I label jar weights on the conservatively low side. Product ranges in weight depending on formula from 1.6 to 2 grams.
