The IE vent-to-atmosphere billet catch can is designed to catch all of the oil fumes and gunk omitted from the factory engine breather systems. This not only removes the blow-by oil and build-up, but will greatly help reduce oil buildup in the intake system, valves, combustion chamber, vacuum system, and PCV hoses which relate to power loss and poor drivability. IE VENT TO ATMOSPHERE CATCH CAN DESIGN The Integrated Engineering billet VTA catch can feature our state-of-the-art baffle system. This baffle allows crankcase pressure to flow through the catch can while oil is separated and stays behind. This design separates more oil than the traditional catch can designs and keeps the liquid in the chamber and out of your engine bay. This sleek catch can is fully serviceable, easily disassembling if needed. Draining the catch can is simple with the use of a bottom mounted drain plug (no-tool t handle drain sold separately). Included with our catch cans, high-quality IE breather filters will further help to keep large particles from exiting the can, as well as any outside elements flowing back to the PCV system. This beautiful can is finished with a bright black anodize finish, which maintains a stealthy appearance while looking great in your engine bay. CUSTOM INSTALL REQUIRED IE catch cans are a universal design and can be adapted to any vehicle with the use of readily available adapters and fittings. The included choice of 90 degree or straight mounting bracket makes installing the can into any engine bay easy. Our catch cans feature two 1/2" NPT thread breather inlets to accept a wide variety of fittings, adapters, or hose ends to custom install into your factory breather system. IE also produces direct-fit catch can kits for many VW and Audi engines. OPTIONAL MOUNT BRACKETS To make your custom install as easy as possible, you have your choice of either a straight or 90-degree bracket. These stainless steel brackets are a direct-fit to the IE catch can, strong enough to keep it stable in any condition and help to make fabricating or finding your mount location as easy as possible. Add your choice of bracket style to your order above. COLD WEATHER CLIMATES Catch can kits are designed for warm weather climates only. If you live in an area with sub-freezing temperatures in winter months, extra precaution must be taken as condensation in the catch can and lines can freeze and cause pressure to build up in the crankcase. We recommend checking catch can content frequently or removing the system entirely during cold winter months.
