Promotion of wide area management and joint cooperation for water supply and sewerage has been raised as an effective measure to these challenges. This survey investigated and examined issues, requests, and policies regarding efforts to wide area management and joint cooperation in water supply and sewerage businesses, as well as technologies such as the wide-area integrated monitoring systems used in these efforts.
