It is found that H2, CO and hydrocarbons (CxHy) are produced as major by-products from the biogas, and that H2 has the highest concentration in the by-products, followed by CO and CxHy. It is also found that H2S addition has little effect on H2 generation by the plasma reforming of biogas, and that sulfur atoms in H2S deposit on electrodes and packed materials.
