With respect to the high-radiation environments, the exposure of high-energy charged particles such as protons, electrons, etc. to the insulation materials gives rise to the charge accumulations, which induce malfunctions of the power electronics, in the materials due to changes in the insulation characteristics of the materials. Therefore, in this paper, we have developed a program to calculate space charge transport in insulation materials irradiated with proton beams and calculated space charge behavior in PI (polyimide), which can be used in power electronics.
