In order to relieve congestion, some areas have introduced applications that allow visitors to check the congestion status of tourist attractions with their smartphones. On the other hand, not much research has been conducted on what kind of congestion information is effective for decentralizing the congestion at tourist attractions from the viewpoint of eliminating overtourism.
