IGL Ecocoat Premier – Ceramic Spray Sealant & Coating Topper
IGL Ecocoat Premier is a water-based ceramic spray sealant designed to deliver strong hydrophobic performance, increased gloss and a slick, dirt-repelling finish with protection la sting up to 6 months. Originally developed as a maintenance product for IGL ceramic coatings, Premier can be used either as a standalone protective sealant or as a topper over an existing ceramic coating, where it acts as a sacrificial maintenance layer. Its easy spray-and-wipe application makes it a practical option for enthusiasts who want longer-lasting protection than a traditional quick detailer without the more involved application process of a professional ceramic coating. KEY BENEFITS Provides up to 6 months of protection Can be used as a standalone ceramic spray sealant Suitable as a maintenance topper over ceramic coatings Strong hydrophobic water-repellent performance IGL reports a water contact angle exceeding 105° Adds gloss and surface slickness Helps surfaces remain cleaner for longer Improved resistance to water spotting Water-based formula Zero-VOC formulation Non-yellowing finish Only 1–2 light sprays per panel required Suitable for matte and gloss paintwork Safe for PPF and vinyl wraps Suitable for non-absorbent automotive surfaces BEST USED FOR Ideal when you want more durable protection than a quick detailer or drying aid, without stepping up to a professionally applied ceramic coating. Premier is particularly well suited to: Maintaining an existing ceramic coating Adding a sacrificial protective layer over ceramic coatings Protecting uncoated vehicles as a standalone spray sealant Increasing gloss and slickness after vehicle preparation Improving water beading and ease of maintenance Periodic protection between major detailing sessions For ceramic coated vehicles, Premier is best treated as a periodic coating maintenance product, rather than something that needs to be applied after every wash.
