Ignition is the second full length album released by The Offspring, originally released on Epitaph Records in 1992. This was the band's first release on Epitaph, and because of the limited availability of their first album, which was not released on CD until 1995, many once considered IgnitionThe Offspring's true debut album. Released during the popularity of grunge and alternative rock, Ignition brought The Offspring small success in the Southern region of California, mainly the areas of San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles (where the album was recorded).
