The hem and lower body are knitted in the round first, with the cable pattern on the front and plain back, then the upper front and back are worked one at a time and grafted together at the shoulder and that’s the only seaming this sweater has. The collar is made by picking up stitches at the head opening and working k2- p2 rib for a while. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the armhole and sleeves are knitted towards the cuffs.This boxy sweater is very easy, even for beginners. There’s no shaping what-so-ever.
