Grapes: 80% Negroamaro, 20% Malvasia Nera Negroamaro is earthy and dominated by dark fruits—mainly, prunes and ripe plum, blackberry, and sweet cherries—with a faint herbaceous fin ish reminiscent of dried thyme or sharp, aromatic spices like allspice or clove. Malvasia Nera is a dark-skinned variety within the Malvasia grape family, and it is used to produce red wine. In Apulia, Malvasia Nera is blended with Negroamaro.
