Rather, he is calling Christians to step up and lead by example when embracing African American brothers and sisters in the church. We as believers are held to a higher standard because we have been reconciled to God through Christ and are now ministers of that reconciliation. We must live out God’s love and grace towards those who are different from us and embrace brothers and sisters from any background.
